Today was our project pitch: here it is in full. (The video automatically moves to the next slide after 2 seconds, so I've put images of all the slides below.)
We spent a lot of time deciding on what we wanted to explore, and ultimately came up with this main questions:
If AI can take the humanity out of art, is there any way to take computer generated art and add humanity back into it?
How does it feel to view AI art, versus that created by humans?
Is AI art always noticeably AI-generated? Is there a way to create human-made art that mimics this?
Does the idea of technology scare us or is it the idea of something possibly being human?
What makes us human?
How is AI art different to human-made art?
We want to achieve a greater understanding the relationship between technology and humanity and how art plays a part into it.
We want to explore and develop our skills in traditional visual media, 3D modelling softwares, physical computing and also projection mapping.
