Today, we had the first Green Screen tutorial. We went over the basics of filming against a green screen, exposing the background 1-2 stops higher than the subject, making it easier to key out later, and lighting the subject and background to help this. Peter was our first guinea pig, standing in front of the camera while we took turns setting up lights and framing him correctly.
By the end, a few of us recorded short videos to use next week with Ali in the After Effects workshop for the second part of the Green Screen Workshops - and Peter presented the weather:
